Now let’s look at how the song repeated ‘It Was A Very Good Year’ in the lyrics and personalize it. 2023 was a very good year for DA:NCE because you supported our efforts to educate the culture to know about the differences between healthy and harmful children’s dance😊

And now (drum roll), because it’s important for you to understand the big picture of ‘A Very Good Year’, I’d like to share a few personal highlights that we celebrated in 2023:

 

In addition to my personal video for ‘A Very Good Year’, have you seen any superhero movies lately? Let’s fly into the future and frame some 2024 DA:NCE goals with superpower vision:

  1. It’s worth repeating: Launch the DA:NCE Coalition, a broad mixture of adults who want to stop the hypersexualization of children in adult costumes, choreography and music. The Coalition also includes the creation of the DA:NCE Coalition Advisory Council. Look for preliminary information that is already on the website.
  2. Create a new video resource using experienced dance educators who speak passionately into the differences between healthy, educational dance and harmful, hypersexualized dance
  3. Develop a database of healthy dance studios nationally & internationally
  4. Establish an online healthy dance concert
  5. Widen the reach of ‘My DA:NCE Why’ and ‘Share Your DA:NCE Story’ through uploading personal videos with the message of healthy rather than harmful DA:NCE
